About Me.

Hi! I'm Nicole. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado.

My career journey as a social worker began in 2012 when I had my first social work internship in college. 

​

Throughout the early days of my career, I lived each workday with the intention of proactively developing into the social worker that I wanted to become. That meant that I saw every challenge as an opportunity to learn and develop my skills and competency to practice confidently and independently, and as someone who could eventually be a resource for others. 

​

One of my clinical supervisors described me as "relentlessly strength based." Upon reflection, I found that this description accurately describes the foundation of what grounds and informs my clinical practice the most; I can see the strengths, resources, and opportunities in any situation, even within the most under-resourced, most challenging circumstances. This unique skill and ability have been beneficial both from a macro program and community development standpoint, as well as on a micro individual level with clients I've served as well. I help organizations and individuals to see that they already have everything they need within them or within their reach, even when it doesn't seem like it, and even when naysayers say otherwise.

Through Social Worker, LLC, I get to do the specific jobs within social work that I love, support my community, and do so from a place of independence and ownership. 

​

I hope that through this business model I can inspire other social workers and social work students to make sure that along your journey of advocating for others, that you are advocating for yourself and your wellbeing as well.
