Are you feeling burnt out in social work? Discouraged by how all the "good" jobs seem to require a license, but you are getting so burnt out and disillusioned with social work to continue your pursuit? I've been there. I had a good friend who was a few steps ahead of me encourage me to not give up in social work, and kept telling me that things would be so much better once I got my clinical license. She said that I would have so much more freedom and that I would have the opportunity to make more money. She was right! Getting my LCSW was the best decision that I made in my social work career. I don't think I would have continued my journey of pursuing my LCSW if I hadn't had my wonderful friend coaching me and cheering me on. That is why I want to pay it forward and offer that same encouragement to you as well.
